Borobudur tour differs markedly with the general design of other structures built for this purpose. Instead of building on a flat surface, Borobudur is built on a natural hill. The building technique is, however, similar to other temples in Java. With no inner space as in other temples and its general design similar to the shape of pyramid, Borobudur was first thought more likely to have served as a stupa, instead of a temple. A stupa is intended as a shrine for the Lord Buddha. Sometimes stupas were built only as devotional symbols of Buddhism. A temple, on the other hand, is used as a house of deity and has inner spaces for worship. The complexity of the monument’s meticulous design suggests Borobudur is in fact a temple. Congregational worship in Borobudur is performed by means of pilgrimage. Pilgrims were guided by the system of staircases and corridors ascending to the top platform. Each platform represents one stage of enlightenment. The path that guides pilgrims was designed with the symbolism of sacred knowledge according to the Buddhist cosmology.

This excursion is favourite one. Start by pick up service at the port and directly drive to Borobudur temple. For group, a police escort will be organized for group to have save drive due to traffic and narrow road to the temple. Ideal time is maximum 09.00 AM departure from the port and will be right back at the port around 3.30 PM. Many picturesque along the way but please try to take a picture or make sports after visiting the temple.

Price for the tour is quoted per person basis includes:
- English speaking guide
- Private Air Conditioned transportation
- Entrance and parking fee
- Admission to port administration
- Lunch, either at local restaurant or box (upon request)
- Police escort for group tour (more than 8 persons)

Semarang Tour explores a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital of the province of Central Java. It has an area of 373.67 km² and a population of approximately 1.5 million people, making it the Indonesia’s fifth largest city. Semarang is located at 6°58?S 110°25?E? / ?-6.967, 110.417. A major port during the Dutch colonial era, and still an important port today, the city has a large ethnically Chinese population.

The name of the city, Semarang, may have originated from the concatenation of the words “assam” (tamarind) and “arang” (charcoal). Another version is that Semarang is originated from Chinese word Sam Po Lang (San Bao Loong), meaning “the city of Sam Po” (Admiral Zheng He).

This short city tour takes you to Semarang city, the central of Simpang Lima, Sam Po Kong Chinese temple and Blenduk Church. When time is available, you may have additional hour optional for shopping in Semarang Citraland Mall.
